Our licensed professionals provide customized facials, therapeutic and relaxation massage, manual lymphatic drainage, buccal facial massage, waxing, lash and brow services, and thoughtfully adapted oncology care. Nichole Bockover Harris
Nichole’s passion for wellness and caring for others has shaped a career spanning more than 20 years. With a background in health, wellness, massage therapy, and esthetics, she founded Purple Lotus KC Wellness Spa to create a place where results-driven care and genuine restoration come together. As a licensed massage therapist and esthetician, Oncology-Trained Esthetician/Massage Therapist, and CIDESCO Diplomat, Nichole combines advanced education with a personalized, whole-person approach. She specializes in customized corrective skincare, therapeutic massage, and oncology-conscious care for those experiencing cancer treatment, recovery, chronic health concerns, or medically reactive skin. Her passion for oncology care is deeply personal, inspired by her mother’s journey with ovarian cancer. That experience strengthened her commitment to creating a space where clients with complex needs can feel safe, understood, and cared for without judgment. Whether addressing skin concerns, muscle tension, stress, or simply the need to slow down, Nichole believes wellness is never one-size-fits-all. Her goal is for every guest to leave feeling heard, supported, restored, and more confident in caring for themselves. For Nichole, Purple Lotus is more than a spa—it’s a place where rejuvenation, relaxation, and results come together.
Shae Burrup
Shae’s passion for skincare began at 21 when she volunteered as a training model for a facial. She expected a skincare treatment but walked away surprised by how relaxed, refreshed, and cared for she felt. That experience inspired her to become an esthetician and create that same sense of renewal for others. As a licensed esthetician, Shae especially enjoys helping clients with acne and other skin concerns that can affect confidence. She takes a personalized, results-focused approach while creating a calm, welcoming, judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable asking questions and learning about their skin. She finds it especially rewarding to watch their skin—and confidence—improve over time. Shae’s esthetics training also includes foundational Swedish massage techniques, allowing her to incorporate relaxing massage within her current scope of practice. She is continuing her education toward becoming a licensed massage therapist, which will allow her to expand her skills and offer a broader range of therapeutic bodywork modalities. Her goal is to blend esthetics and massage to support healthy skin, stress relief, relaxation, and whole-person wellness. Outside the treatment room, Shae enjoys reading, painting, and crochet. Her goal is for every client to leave feeling supported, relaxed, and genuinely cared for.
